Common Questions

Answers before you book

What happens on the first call?

Thirty minutes, no cost and no obligation. Phil asks what you already have in place and what worries you, then says whether anything is worth changing. If nothing is, he'll tell you that.

How much life insurance do I need?

It depends on who relies on your income, what debts would outlive you, and what you want to leave behind. Phil works through those with you, and the number changes as your life does.

What is the difference between term and permanent coverage?

Term covers a set number of years and pays only if you die inside that window. Permanent policies stay in force for life and build cash value you can borrow against. Most families end up with some of each.

Is Kai-Zen right for me?

Kai-Zen is built for high-income earners who have already filled the usual retirement buckets and want more. There are health and income requirements, and Kai-Zen Central lists them.

Do I need an estate plan if I'm not wealthy?

If you own a home, have children, or hold retirement accounts, you have an estate. A plan names who handles it and keeps your family out of probate court, at any size.

How does Phil get paid?

The review costs you nothing. If you put a policy in place, the carrier pays a commission. Phil tells you what he earns on anything he recommends before you sign.

Do you only work with clients in Florida?

No. GenFi 360 is based in St. Augustine and works with clients nationwide. You can do all of it by phone, video and e-signature.
